Compliance software built from inside Australian healthcare IT.
ClinicComply was built with healthcare IT experience at its core. We saw the same compliance gaps play out in GP clinics, dental practices, and allied health centres across Australia. Then we built the platform that should have existed.
What we built this around
The only compliance platform designed for the real problems Australian GP clinics actually face.
Why we built this
The compliance gap in Australian healthcare was hard to miss. Practice managers are capable, organised people running genuinely complex operations. But when it came to compliance documentation, especially anything touching IT security, the systems were not there.
RACGP accreditation visits exposed the same problem repeatedly. IT documentation was the last thing pulled together and the hardest to find. Backup procedures, incident response plans, vendor data processing agreements. They existed somewhere. Just never anywhere useful.
The tools that existed were either priced for large health groups, built exclusively for GP practices, or generic GRC platforms that had no idea what RACGP Standard 1.7 meant. Allied health, dental practices, and specialist clinics had effectively nothing purpose-built for them.
ClinicComply exists to fix that. A healthcare compliance platform built with deep familiarity with Australian standards, the real workflows of practice managers, and the IT vendor ecosystem they depend on. Not a consultancy product. Not a generic risk tool. A platform that actually does the job.
Three problems no existing tool was solving
These are the specific gaps that made ClinicComply worth building. Each one is now a core part of the platform.
The accreditation scramble was predictable
RACGP accreditation visits triggered the same crisis in practice after practice. IT documentation was the hardest part to pull together. Backup procedures, incident response plans, vendor security policies. They were supposed to exist somewhere. Nobody had a system.
The documents existed. The problem was there was nowhere to keep them and no way to prove they were current.
IT vendors had no way to help
MSPs servicing Australian GP clinics wanted to provide compliance documentation. But there was no structured way to do it. The practice would send a vague email. The MSP would send a PDF. It would land in an inbox and stay there, never linked to anything that mattered.
No other compliance platform had a vendor upload portal. So we built one from scratch.
The market served GPs and nobody else
PracticeHub by Avant is expensive and GP-centric. Generic GRC tools know nothing about RACGP, AGPAL, or the Australian Privacy Act. Dental practices, allied health, and specialist clinics were completely underserved by every tool on the market.
Australian healthcare is more than general practice. ClinicComply covers 10 frameworks across every clinic type.
The principles behind every decision we make
Australian data stays in Australia
All compliance data is stored in Sydney. Nothing goes offshore. Privacy Act compliance starts with where your data actually lives, and we take that seriously from day one.
Built for practice managers, not consultants
ClinicComply is designed for the person who handles appointments, staff, Medicare billing, and compliance all at once. It should not require a specialist to navigate.
Healthcare-specific, not generic GRC
Every checklist item and every workflow is mapped to Australian healthcare standards. Not a generic risk platform rebadged for health. RACGP criteria, Privacy Act obligations, NDB requirements, all built in.
